Can you choose what days to use Genie Plus?

What is this? Currently, the only way to buy Genie+ is one day at a time in the My Disney Experience app. You can purchase Genie Plus Disney World for that upcoming day starting at midnight. Be sure to purchase it before 7 am so you are ready to make your first reservation right at 7 am!

As of 2026, the service formerly known as Genie+ has been replaced by the Lightning Lane Multi Pass, and yes, you have complete control over which days you choose to purchase it. Unlike the old system where you had to wait until the day of your visit, the 2026 system allows for advance planning. Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels can purchase the Multi Pass and select their first three attractions up to 7 days in advance of their check-in for their entire stay. All other guests with date-based tickets can purchase and plan up to 3 days in advance. This means you do not have to buy the pass for every day of your trip; you can strategically choose to use it only on "heavy" park days like Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios, while skipping it for more relaxed days at Animal Kingdom or EPCOT. This flexibility allows you to manage your vacation budget while ensuring you have confirmed "skip-the-line" windows for your highest-priority rides before you even step foot in the park.
