As of 2026, the service formerly known as Genie Plus has been rebranded at Walt Disney World as Lightning Lane Multi Pass, and one of the biggest changes is that you can now see and select specific times for your attractions before you finalize your booking. Unlike the original Genie Plus system, which only allowed you to see the "next available" time, the new Multi Pass system allows guests to plan ahead. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can purchase the pass and make your first three selections up to seven days in advance of your check-in date. All other guests can do so three days in advance. When making these selections, the app provides a list of available one-hour arrival windows, allowing you to choose times that best fit your dining reservations or your child's nap schedule. Once you enter the park and use your first selection, you can then look for a fourth attraction and pick from the remaining available times. This "pre-planning" feature was highly requested by guests who found the previous "day-of" only system too stressful and unpredictable for family vacations.
