Getting between the Sporades Islands Ferries then leave from the port in Skiathos Town direct for neighbouring Skopelos. Most arrive at the west-coast port of Loutraki, from where you'll need to cross the island (a pleasure in itself) to reach Skopelos Town's harbour for connections onto Alonissos.
