Unlike Skiathos, Skopelos is a laid back place, quieter an more peaceful, so enjoy you serene surroundings. Skopelos is yours to explore for the day. After taking breakfast at your hotel it is up to you what you do, and this can be as little as relaxing by the hotel pool, or go exploring around the island.

When to go. Skopelos is one of the few Mediterranean destinations that doesn't get too overcrowded in July and August, but if you want the island at its most quiet (but still balmy), visit in June or September.

Choose to have a short trip around the island by a local boat, discover locations not accessible on foot and sail to the islet of Antipsara, a few miles away. If you are looking for an unspoiled Greek island, Psara is your best bet.
