Mid-Beach stretches from 1st street all the way to 14th. This beach is most used by Tybee locals and families renting vacation homes. It is usually much less crowded than the south or north ends and is an absolutely stunning expanse of shoreline.
This beach is huge, parking is $2.00 per hour 2 hour minimum. There can be sand fleas but I did not get a bite, one friend may have. The water was warm like a bath, clean and clear. Bath house could have had toilets washed, but otherwise it was basically a clean beach bathroom.
