Can you drink around the world in Epcot?

The term “drink around the world” was coined by Disney fans and refers to drinking one alcoholic beverage per country in World Showcase at EPCOT. It is not an official Walt Disney World Resort sponsored activity, so there is not a ticket you can purchase for it.

Just because you're drinking around the world doesn't mean you have to drink alcohol in each country. There are a lot of AMAZING non-alcoholic drinks to be had at World Showcase. The Frozen Mint Tea in Morocco comes to mind. It's just a little over $5 (the boozy version costs $10 more!).

Yep, you can purchase and wander with alcohol in Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney's Hollywood Studios, but you can't leave the park with it. Many guests are intimately familiar with that “chug at the gate” policy.

Per the Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules, water bottles are permitted as long as they are not glass, so you're all set with your Hydro Flask. There is one thing to be aware of, though: Crocs are not allowed to be worn on any escalators. So, inside The Land Pavilion at EPCOT, on the way to the parking garages at Disney Springs, or anywhere else with an escalator, you will either need to take the stairs or an elevator or plan to wear different shoes.
