Can you get a fast pass at Epcot?

Fastpass (aka Fast Pass or FastPass+) is Disney World's ride reservation system that allows you to reserve access to certain rides, shows, and character meet-and-greets in advance. With a FastPass you'll usually wait less than 10 minutes in line. Fastpass is available during regular park hours at Epcot.

In 2026, the traditional paper "FastPass" and the digital "FastPass+" are long gone, replaced by the Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass. To "skip the line" at EPCOT, you must purchase these services through the My Disney Experience app. The Multi Pass covers high-demand attractions like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Frozen Ever After, and Soarin' Around the World. However, for the most popular ride in the park—Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind—you cannot use the Multi Pass; instead, you must either join a "Virtual Queue" at 7:00 AM or 1:00 PM (which is free but not guaranteed) or purchase an individual Lightning Lane Single Pass, which allows you to buy a specific time slot for that one ride. Prices for these services fluctuate based on park attendance, usually ranging from $15 to $35 per day. While the name has changed from "FastPass" to "Lightning Lane," the core concept remains: you are paying a premium to bypass the standby queue and maximize your day at the park.

In general, you should think of Epcot as a two-day park. There's so much to see and do that you really need a couple of days to enjoy everything without feeling like you're rushing through the park. But we recognize that most people can't or won't give two of their precious days at Disney to Epcot.

Originally, all the FastPass tickets were free as long as the guests purchased their park tickets. However, on January 11, 2017, Disney announced Disney's MaxPass for the Disneyland Resort. The new system worked in conjunction with the original FastPass system.
