Can you have 3 adults in a Travelodge room?

Travel Lodge family rooms sleep 4 (maximum 3 adults) so only one of your children has to look under 16. However, whatever their age, the sofa and pull out beds are very short so they may not have a very comfortable nights sleep. They are fine for one night, but for any longer I would book 2 rooms.
