When Can I Join the Virtual Queue? Disney World opens its Virtual Queues at 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM each day. Spots in the virtual queue go quickly, so we recommend that you tap quickly and join the queue immediately at one of these times.
Virtual QueuesAccess to a boarding group is subject to availability and not guaranteed. Guests visiting from another theme park using an Annual Pass or the Park Hopper option may not be able to join the virtual queue in a park where they do not have a theme park reservation.
You now can only park hop AFTER 2PM.So you'll have to wait until well after lunchtime if you're planning on visiting another park. However, this rule is different for Annual Passholders.
To secure and redeem a Boarding Group in a Virtual Queue, each member of the party must have a Theme Park Reservation for the park in which the attraction is located. If you switch your Theme Park Reservation after enrolling in a Virtual Queue, you cannot redeem your Boarding Group if it's called.
Guests are limited to one ride per day on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind using the Virtual Queue during regular park hours. This allows as many people as possible an opportunity to ride. However, it is possible to get into the Virtual Queue and also buy an Individual Lightning Lane to ride a second time.
There might be a way to ride Cosmic Rewind twice! If you can secure a boarding group for the ride, and also purchase an Individual Lightning Lane for the ride, it stands to reason that you could ride it twice: once with your boarding group, and once with your Lightning Lane!
In most cases, guests who have been late to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind have been allowed to ride after scanning their park ticket at the attraction's entrance. Though this may not be the case for every day, especially during the parks' busy seasons.
Epcot is a great option for those who are pregnant at Disney World. Most of its rides are available to those who are expecting. Only these three rides have an advisory: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
Darkness May Make Guardians Cosmic Rewind Too Scary For Some Kids. The attraction is essentially a coaster that takes place inside a planetarium. If your child has been on Rock N Roller Coaster or Space Mountain and found the dark element of the attraction too scary, this may not be the ride for them.
While it's fast, Cosmic Rewind has a super smooth track and a rotating ride vehicle that doesn't make it feel like you are going too fast. While we *know* it's got some speed (check out the hair flying in the picture!), it doesn't feel like an incredibly scary attraction from this point of view.
If you are unsuccessful at either of these times, all of the boarding groups are gone and you will not be able to ride the attraction. You will enter these virtual queue attractions via the Lightning Lane, which is the queue that allows you to skip the stand-by line.
Virtual queues are completely separate from Lightning Lane, and don't affect your ability to pay for a Individual Lightning Lane selection. In fact, if a ride has both a virtual queue and paid Individual Lightning Lane access, you can use both and ride it twice!
