Can you live in Sentosa island?

Sentosa will make the perfect new home for expats who want and can afford a luxury lifestyle. Sentosa is Singapore's resort island with housing options available in a 2,600-home development named Sentosa Cove.

Yes, you can absolutely live on Sentosa Island in Singapore, specifically within the prestigious residential enclave known as Sentosa Cove. This is the only place in Singapore where non-citizens (foreigners) are permitted to purchase and own landed property, such as seafront bungalows and luxury villas, subject to government approval. The area is divided into several gated communities and features a mix of high-end condominiums, terrace houses, and opulent detached homes, many of which come with private yacht berths. Living on Sentosa offers a unique "resort-style" lifestyle that is rare in the rest of the city-state, with residents enjoying proximity to golf courses, white-sand beaches, and the Quayside Isle dining district. However, this exclusivity comes with a high price tag; property prices in Sentosa Cove are among the most expensive in Asia, and residents must account for the "Sentosa entry" logistics, though residents have special passes for seamless access. It is a popular choice for wealthy expatriates and locals who prioritize privacy, serenity, and a connection to the water while remaining just a 15-minute drive from the central business district.
