Can you reserve preferred parking at Disney World?

Guests staying at Disney Resorts Collection hotels and select Annual Passholders receive complimentary standard theme park parking. Guests eligible for standard parking can choose to upgrade to preferred parking. Theme park parking cannot be reserved in advance.

As of 2026, you cannot pre-reserve preferred parking at Walt Disney World Resort theme parks; it is available strictly on a first-come, first-served basis upon arrival at the auto plazas. Preferred parking areas are located significantly closer to the theme park entrances compared to standard lots, which can save considerable walking time at the beginning and end of your day. The cost typically ranges from $50 to $60 per day, depending on the season and date of your visit. For guests who already have standard parking included (such as Disney Resort hotel guests and certain Annual Passholders), you have the option to upgrade to preferred parking by paying the difference in price, which is usually between $15 and $25 per day. While you can't book the spot in advance, Disney's "Car Locator" feature in the My Disney Experience app can help you save your exact location once you've parked, ensuring you don't lose your vehicle after a long day of magic.
