The waters off Tybee Island host a resident pod of bottlenose dolphins that numbers between 25 and 50. There are also schools of dolphins that make their way up the close at various times of year. This beach is huge, parking is $2.00 per hour 2 hour minimum. There can be sand fleas but I did not get a bite, one friend may have. The water was warm like a bath, clean and clear. Bath house could have had toilets washed, but otherwise it was basically a clean beach bathroom.
