Can you take food and drinks on the Skyliner?

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney! As you soar to your magical adventures on the Disney Skyliner, you are welcome to take your jet fuel (i.e. coffee!) along for the ride! There is a restriction on bringing alcoholic beverages on the Disney Skyliner, but your boost of morning Java will be just fine!

Yes, you are allowed to take food and drinks on the Disney Skyliner at Walt Disney World in 2026. There are no specific prohibitions against eating or drinking while in the gondola cabins. However, it is important to remember that the Skyliner cabins are not climate-controlled (they rely on cross-ventilation), and the ride can occasionally stop mid-air for a few minutes. For this reason, it is best to avoid messy foods or open, full cups that could spill during the cabin's movement or when docking at stations. Many guests enjoy bringing a coffee or a snack purchased from the Joffrey’s Coffee stand located near the Caribbean Beach Resort station. While eating is permitted, Disney expects guests to keep the cabins clean and dispose of all trash in the bins provided at the stations. Note that alcoholic beverages purchased in the parks must generally be finished or discarded before leaving the park, so check local signage regarding "to-go" drinks from Epcot.
