How long does the Skyliner take?

The journey time for a one-way journey along the full route from Caribbean Beach to Epcot is 11 minutes. A journey between Caribbean Beach and Riviera takes three minutes, and the journey between Riviera and Epcot takes six minutes.

The Disney Skyliner's travel time in 2026 depends on your specific route across the Walt Disney World Resort, as the system functions like a continuous "moving sidewalk" in the sky. Generally, individual legs between stations are quite brief. For example, the trip from Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort (the main hub) to Disney’s Hollywood Studios or the Riviera Resort takes about 5 to 6 minutes. The longest single continuous leg is from the Riviera Resort to the International Gateway at EPCOT, which clocks in at approximately 9 minutes. If you are traveling from the "Value" resorts—Pop Century or Art of Animation—you must first take a 6-minute ride to the Caribbean Beach hub, where you then transfer to your final destination. In total, a trip from Pop Century to EPCOT takes roughly 15 to 20 minutes including the transfer time. It is a highly efficient way to travel, though guests should be aware of 2026 refurbishment schedules (typically in late January) when the system closes for maintenance and is replaced by bus services.
