Can you trust Uber in Cabo?

Despite Uber being illegal in Cabo, they continue to operate at a much higher risk. Tourists may not have been informed that it's prohibited and presume it works the same way in their home country, not knowing they could be left stranded at any time.

The fastest and most economical way to explore all Los Cabos has to offer is to rent a car. But you should be cautious when driving anywhere beyond the tourist areas; highway robberies have been known to occur. You'll find rental agencies in the downtown area as well as inside the airport.

It's up to personal preference whether Tulum is nicer than Cabo. Tulum has a rustic, hippie feel compared to Cabo. It also has lush jungle and beaches that often contain natural debris. If you travel to Tulum from May to October, you likely won't think it's nicer than Cabo.
