Can you use regular MagicBands at Disney?

Yes! You can use a Disney World MagicBand+ at Disneyland and on a Disney Cruise. However, older technology, such as the original MagicBand or MagicBand 2, is not supported at Disneyland or on a Disney Cruise. You can reassign MagicBands to other guests at Disneyland, but you cannot reassign them at Disney World.

For Individual Lightning Lanes, our overall answer is very subjective. The prices on them are so high, that it's really up to the individual whether or not it's worth the money to not wait in line for hours at a time for the experience. Disney Genie Plus Lightning Lanes are a different story.

Just make sure they're active. One thing thats a slight bummer is cannot use them to buy points at resort arcades but thats life. They will work for purchases and tapping into rides. But they won't link the ride photos that don't have a touch point.
