While Disney's Art of Animation Resort is a sprawling property with beautiful internal walking paths, your ability to walk to other major destinations is quite limited. The most popular walking route is the Generation Gap Bridge, which spans Hourglass Lake and connects Art of Animation directly to Disney's Pop Century Resort. This allows guests to easily visit the neighboring food court, shop, or enjoy the 1950s–1990s theming. Beyond Pop Century, there are no direct pedestrian paths to any of the four theme parks or Disney Springs. To reach Hollywood Studios or EPCOT, guests must use the Disney Skyliner, which has a shared station for both resorts located right on the bridge. Walking to these parks is not possible due to busy roads and a lack of continuous sidewalks. However, the resort itself offers extensive trails around its four themed areas (Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid), which are perfect for morning jogs or evening strolls among larger-than-life character statues.
