Can you walk around EPCOT with alcohol?

You Can't Take Open Containers Out Of A Park Yep, you can purchase and wander with alcohol in Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney's Hollywood Studios, but you can't leave the park with it. Many guests are intimately familiar with that “chug at the gate” policy.

Prepare to spend at least $100 (most likely, around $130 to $150) to drink around the world at Epcot—just for the beverages. (A park ticket can range from $109 to $189, depending on the time of year, and food can be anywhere from a couple bucks to $20+.) Drinks can cost anywhere from $8 to $39 a pop.

Alcoholic beverages can be purchased at Walt Disney World Resort by all Guests 21 years of age or older. Any Guest who wishes to purchase an alcoholic beverage at Walt Disney World Resort must present one of the following valid forms of identification: U.S. state driver's license (includes U.S. territories*)

According to the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, the only beverages that Guests aren't allowed to bring into the Theme Parks are, in fact, alcoholic beverages. Non-alcoholic beer doesn't fall into this category, but I totally understand why you would hesitate to bring them with you.

While there is a lot to see and do, you can easily fit in your favorite attractions during a single day at Epcot. Additionally, don't overdo it with food and drinks. Only get your favorite dishes and split drinks with others in your group.

As a general rule of thumb the best day of the week to visit EPCOT typically tends to be Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. We would recommend visiting on a Wednesday during the festivals mentioned above.

Epcot attracts Disney Resort hotel guests on Mondays. As such, we're left with Tuesday and Wednesday, the quietest days throughout the year, and during festivals such as the Epcot International Festival Of the Arts and Epcot International Food and Wine Festival.

In general, you should think of Epcot as a two-day park. There's so much to see and do that you really need a couple of days to enjoy everything without feeling like you're rushing through the park. But we recognize that most people can't or won't give two of their precious days at Disney to Epcot.

Basic Outline of an Epcot Day Our basic approach to Epcot is to start with rides, take a lap around the World Showcase, ride a few more rides, take a second lap around the World Showcase, finish the rides, and finish our day.

The parks tend to reach their highest capacity in mid-afternoon. The crowds will start going down around dinnertime. That means the best time to get through the lines is early in the morning, so come on, get out of bed and let's have some Fun.

The carts offer a few shots, Jägermeister included, and the Wine Cellar shop features a nice selection of German wines with the option of doing flights as well.

Guests are welcome to carry a bag or backpack with them into the theme parks. The maximum allowable bag size is 24 by 18 by 15. All Guests and their bags will undergo a security screening process prior to entering the theme parks and Disney Springs.
