One of the best features of Disney's Beach Club Resort® is that it has the distinct advantage of its close proximity to Epcot®. A short ten-minute walk is all that it takes to get to the International Gateway entrance of the World Showcase at Epcot.

Disney's Beach Club is a little closer than Yacht Club and BoardWalk to the International Gateway entrance for EPCOT. While the distance may seem negligible to the naked eye, the few extra steps saved at the end of a long night in the Park really makes a difference when our dogs are barkin'!
First, you must walk to the Skyliner from the Beach Club, which is about 5 minutes. Then the ride from the International Gateway to the Caribbean Beach Resort is 15 minutes.
EPCOT is arguably the least family-friendly park at Walt Disney World, so you may not need more than a few hours to do everything of interest if you have small children. With that said, a full day at EPCOT is highly recommended for first-timers.

We actually did this walk the other day as we are staying at the Beach Club, but from the Swan or Dolphin there is also a walking path and if you walk as slow as us it will take about 15 minutes, but if you walk at a normal pace you should easily be able to do it in 10 minutes or so.
Anyone can ride the Skyliner; you don't have to be staying at a Disney Resort. Probably the easiest way to catch a ride on the Skyliner (if you aren't staying at a resort with a station or if you are staying offsite) is to board at either Hollywood Studios or Epcot.
