Do all terminals in LAX connect?

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) has opened the Terminal 3-Tom Bradley International Terminal connector, giving passengers unimpeded post-security access to all of the busy hub's terminals for the first time. The connector closes the final gap between LAX's terminals.

Yes, as of late 2023 and continuing through 2026, all nine terminals at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) are connected airside (post-security). This means that once you pass through security in any terminal, you can walk to any other terminal without having to exit and clear security again. The connection is made through a series of underground tunnels, above-ground corridors, and skybridges. For instance, a departures-level walkway connects Terminals 1, 2, and 3, while skybridges link the Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT) to Terminals 3 and 4. This 2-mile continuous loop is a major convenience for passengers with long layovers who want to visit specific lounges or dining options in different buildings. Additionally, by June 2026, the Automated People Mover (APM) is expected to be fully operational on the landside, providing a fast, electric train connection between terminals, parking lots, and the new Metro transit center.
