Do characters come out in EPCOT?

Epcot comes with a significant number of character meet and greets. There are several Epcot characters that are unique to the park, but there are still plenty that can be found in other parks. So, don't feel like you need to get your meet and greet groove on when you are here.



EPCOT is one of the best parks for character interactions because they are themed to specific areas. You can meet Mickey and Friends at the newly opened CommuniCore Hall in World Celebration. In the World Showcase, characters represent their home countries: you will find Anna and Elsa in Norway, Mulan in China, Snow White in Germany, Jasmine in Morocco, and Alice in Wonderland in the United Kingdom. As of early 2026, the International Flower & Garden Festival has added unique "surprise" appearances near the International Gateway. For a more relaxed experience, character dining is available at Garden Grill (featuring Chip 'n Dale and Mickey) and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, where several Disney Princesses greet guests. Always check the My Disney Experience app for the "Character" filter to see exact greeting times for the day.
