As of 2026, simply holding Delta SkyMiles Platinum Medallion (elite status) does not grant you free access to Delta Sky Clubs for domestic flights. To enter a Sky Club on a domestic itinerary, you must have a separate membership or a qualifying credit card like the Amex Platinum or Delta Reserve. However, Delta Platinum Medallion members do get complimentary lounge access when flying on a same-day international flight in Delta Premium Select or Delta One. If you are flying in Economy (Main Cabin) internationally, you generally do not get access unless you have a SkyTeam Elite Plus benefit from a partner airline. Regarding the Delta SkyMiles Platinum American Express Card, the rules have changed significantly: cardholders no longer get "unlimited" access. In 2026, those with the Platinum Card from American Express receive 10 visits per year, and those with the Delta Reserve card receive 15 visits per year, with unlimited access only unlocked after spending $75,000 annually. This shift was designed to reduce the extreme overcrowding seen in Delta's lounges over the previous two years.
