Do I need Magic Band if I am not staying at a resort?

If you aren't staying at a Disney-owned resort you can still use a Magic Band, though what you can do with it is limited. If you're staying “off property” you can use a Magic Band as your park admission, to check in for Lightning Lanes, access the Disney World Virtual Queue, and for Photo Pass.
