Do I need to take towels to Typhoon Lagoon?

Bring your own towels It may not occur to you to bring your own towels, after all, water parks in Orlando will certainly have their own, right? Well, yes and no. At Typhoon Lagoon they do have towels to rent. You're required to make a non-refundable payment in order to take them.

In 2026, you generally do not need to bring your own towels to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. Disney has updated its policy so that complimentary towels are now provided for all guests, not just those staying at Disney Resort hotels. You can pick them up at designated locations like Singapore Sal's or High 'N Dry Towel Rental by showing your MagicBand+ or ticket media. However, many visitors still prefer to bring their own distinctive beach towels to help identify their lounge chairs in the crowded "sandy" areas of the park. If you forget yours, the provided white towels are functional, but you should return them to the drop-off bins before exiting the park. Note that if you are visiting during the scheduled 2026 refurbishment window (February 15 to May 11), the park will be closed, and you would head to Blizzard Beach instead, which follows the same towel policy.
