Do Magic Key holders get physical passes?

When you purchase a Magic Key Pass, everything is delivered to you digitally and linked to your Disneyland account. You will receive a nice little commemorative magnet, but no physical card is included.

As of 2026, Disneyland does not automatically provide physical cards for Magic Key holders. The program is designed to be "digital-first," with your pass living entirely within the Disneyland App under the "Tickets and Passes" section. You use the digital barcode on your phone to enter the parks, link photos, and obtain your food and merchandise discounts. However, if you strongly prefer a physical card—perhaps for convenience or as a memento—you can request one at any Disneyland Resort Ticket Booth for a small processing fee (usually around $20). Additionally, many Magic Key holders choose to link their digital pass to a MagicBand+, which allows for "hands-free" entry and interactivity throughout the parks, effectively serving as a physical wearable pass. While the traditional "complimentary" plastic card is a thing of the past, the combination of the mobile app and MagicBand+ provides a more seamless experience, though the option to buy a plastic card remains available for those who want a backup in case of phone battery issues.
