Do passholders pay for parking at Disney?

Annual Passholders are entitled to free standard parking at the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom parking lots. Free parking is not valid for special events requiring a separate admission charge or special events that are not open to the general public.

At Walt Disney World in Florida, standard theme park parking is included for most Annual Passholders (including the Incredi-Pass, Sorcerer, and Pirate levels). This is a major benefit, as standard parking for non-passholders in 2026 costs approximately $30 per day. You simply scan your MagicBand or digital pass at the toll plaza to enter for free. However, there are a few caveats: you still have to pay the "upcharge" if you want Preferred Parking (usually an additional $20–$25), and you must still pay for parking at Disney Resort hotels if you are visiting for a meal (unless you have a dining reservation). At Disneyland in California, the rules are more tiered; only the top-tier Inspire Key includes standard parking, while the "Believe Key" offers a 50% discount, and lower tiers often require paying the full daily rate. For regular visitors, the "free parking" perk is one of the quickest ways to recoup the cost of the pass, especially given that Disney has been steadily increasing parking fees to encourage the use of their complimentary internal transportation systems.
