Do they take cash at Epcot?

You are welcome to use cash throughout your vacation. Please note that some kiosks and carts may have an attendant who doesn't accept cash based on their available technology and space limitations of the moveable location.

In 2026, while Epcot and Walt Disney World still technically accept cash at many permanent merchandise shops and quick-service restaurants, there has been a significant shift toward a cashless environment, especially at seasonal kiosks. During events like the International Flower & Garden Festival, many of the outdoor "Outdoor Kitchens" and food studios have transitioned to "Cashless Only" locations. At these booths, you must pay using a credit card, debit card, Disney Gift Card, or mobile options like Apple Pay and Google Pay. For guests who only have cash, Disney provides "Reverse ATMs" or allows you to use cash to purchase or reload a Disney Gift Card at larger retail locations (like Creations Shop), which can then be used at the cashless kiosks. This move is designed to speed up transaction times and reduce the logistical burden of handling physical currency during high-traffic festival seasons.
