Do you have to be a DVC member to stay at the Riviera?

Anyone can stay at a DVC Resort or in a DVC Villa Room as long as there is space available.

You do not need to be a member of the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) to stay at Disney’s Riviera Resort. While the property is a dedicated DVC resort, Disney holds a portion of the rooms as standard inventory that can be booked directly through the official Walt Disney World website or a travel agent, just like any other "Deluxe" category hotel. Additionally, non-members can "rent" DVC points from existing members through specialized third-party services, which often allows for a stay in the resort's high-end villas at a significant discount compared to rack rates. Whether you book a standard room or a multi-bedroom villa, you will have full access to all the resort's premium amenities, including the Disney Skyliner transportation system, the themed pools, and the rooftop dining at Topolino’s Terrace, regardless of your membership status.
