Animal Kingdom – 1 DayI could spend 2 days in Animal Kingdom, no problem. But I think conventional wisdom points to most people only spending a day here. Even though I'm always right about everything, I'll go with the better travel advice. It's not going to take much time to get the big attractions done here.

If you really just want to do theme parks every single day of your trip, then I'd suggest 2 full days at Magic Kingdom, 1 or 2 full days at Epcot, and then one day at each Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.
Objectively, the best days to visit Animal Kingdom are weekdays. Across the board, average daily wait times are lower Monday through Friday than they are Saturday or Sunday.

Animal Kingdom is very appropriate for kids ages 6 to 12 or any kiddos who appreciate animals and nature. The park is nicely spread out, and there's definitely a slower pace here (compared to Magic Kingdom). This allows you to go at your own pace, explore the side trails, and take in the scenery.
Here's What Makes Animal Kingdom Great for AdultsAnimal Kingdom is a great “chill” park. While it has some fantastic rides (Flight of Passage and Expedition Everest are two of the best rides at Disney World) the bulk of the enjoyment of the park comes in between the rides.
Definitely Magic Kingdom. The only caveat to that is if ROTR is a must-do for you, you might want to build in some flexibility to park hop as necessary - that way if your DHS day is a bad ROTR day, you'd have some flexibility to go back in the morning, maybe on your Epcot day for example.

Of all the Walt Disney World parks to visit at night, I would highly recommend taking the time to spend a few hours at Animal Kingdom after dark. This park is a totally different place at night, and has such a different feel than during the day. It's definitely worth exploring after dark!
There are a total of 173 rides at Disney World Orlando. There are 41 rides at Magic Kingdom, 42 at Epcot, 17 at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and 46 at Animal Kingdom.
So yes, it's entirely possible to visit four Disney parks in one day, even with kids in tow. All you need is a hopper ticket and a lot of enthusiasm. My boys have the latter in spades. you'll definitely want to start your day at Hollywood Studios. After spending the first part of your day in Hollywood Studios, hop over to EPCOT. These two parks are connected by the Disney Skyliner, so transportation between them is usually pretty quick and easy.
A lot of this has to do with the fact that Animal Kingdom is home to many different animals that require care. This requires the park to close earlier than others so cast members can care for the animals and prepare for the next day.
The worst day of the week to visit has historically been Monday! Perhaps it's because people expect the weekends to be the busiest, so they go with a weekday instead. Nonetheless, Monday wait times might be a bit higher than you'd want.
TIP: The best times to ride the Safari is first thing in the morning or later in the afternoon. The animals are often more active during both of these times. This is a wonderful opportunity to see herds of free-roaming animals in a “natural habitat”.
