Do you need a car on Tybee Island?

Tybee Island is a smaller island at only three miles long and one mile wide so you can walk to any destination on the island. However, if you prefer a faster mode of transportation, bicycles, scooters, golf carts and taxis will get you there quicker and with less effort.

This beach is huge, parking is $2.00 per hour 2 hour minimum. There can be sand fleas but I did not get a bite, one friend may have. The water was warm like a bath, clean and clear. Bath house could have had toilets washed, but otherwise it was basically a clean beach bathroom.
