Do you need Genie Plus for after hours?

During Disney After Hours events, Disney Genie+ is not available to use. All Guests will be directed to the standby queue to ride each attraction. If you have a regular park ticket that day and are there before the event starts, you will be able to use Disney Genie+ during that time.

Not worth it for your first time visiting a park We wouldn't recommend attending Disney After Hours at a park you've never visited during daytime hours. You'll miss out on some of the dining, entertainment and atmosphere that you can only experience with a regular daytime ticket.
