Do you need Memory Maker if you have Genie Plus?

In 2026, you generally do not need to buy Memory Maker if you are already using the Lightning Lane Multi Pass (formerly Genie+) and your primary goal is to get photos from the rides. This is because the Multi Pass now includes unlimited digital downloads of your attraction photos (on-ride photos and videos) as part of the service for that day. However, Memory Maker is still beneficial if you want photos taken by the Disney PhotoPass Photographers found throughout the parks (at "Magic Shot" locations, in front of the castle, or during character meet-and-greets). If you only care about your Space Mountain or Tower of Terror snapshots, the Lightning Lane Multi Pass has you covered. But if you want a professional gallery of your entire family in front of the landmarks, Memory Maker is the better "all-inclusive" option for those high-quality, professional-level digital downloads.

Let's break this down. If you buy Genie+ you will NOT get digital downloads of all of your PhotoPass photos. Instead, you'll ONLY get digital downloads of the ATTRACTION photos taken that day. And keep in mind that you won't get free downloads of ALL attraction photos throughout your trip.
