To drive the road all the way to the summit of Pikes Peak during the busy summer season, you'll need to pay both a timed-entry reservation and a fee per vehicle. The timed-entry fee (as of September 2022) was only $2 per time slot, allowing you to book a few different time slots if you're worried about bad weather.

This walk takes approximately 2.5 to 4 hours to complete. While the Gods hike can be surprisingly challenging at times due to the steep climb and rough terrain, it is generally considered a manageable hike for most people with moderate fitness levels.

Or you can turn the route around and start with an uphill climb – from Positano up the 1700 steps to Nocelle. Come to the fork to choose the high or low paths; when they reconverge at Colle Serra, choose your endpoint of Praiano or Agerola, then get the 5070 or 5080 bus back to Amalfi.

The Kissing Camels rock formation is one of the most popular sites in Garden of the Gods. It's named for its two “camel” rocks that are positioned so they look like they're kissing each other. The Kissing Camels can be easily viewed from several of the trails through the park.
