Do you need to take towels to CocoCay?

Since beach towels are provided onboard based on a check-out/check-in system, you should bring your towels back to the ship with you. Guests who have rented cabanas will have towels at the cabana and may leave the towels there upon departure.

No, you do not need to bring your own towels from home when visiting Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean's private island. Royal Caribbean provides a seamless towel service for all guests. You can check out fresh beach towels on the ship (typically near the gangway as you disembark) using your SeaPass card. Once on the island, there are several dedicated Towel Stations located at Oasis Lagoon, Chill Island, and the Thrill Waterpark where you can exchange a wet, sandy towel for a clean, dry one throughout the day. It is important to remember to scan your card when returning the towels to the designated bins, either on the island or back on the ship, to avoid a "lost towel" fee of approximately $25 per towel. For guests who have booked a private cabana or access to the exclusive Coco Beach Club, "nicer" and fluffier towels are provided directly at those locations as part of the premium service.
