Does Animal Kingdom take good care of their animals?

Disney's Animal Kingdom has been accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums - meaning they have met or exceeded the standards in education, conservation, and research. Disney's Animal Kingdom distinguishes itself from the rest of Walt Disney World's theme parks by featuring traditional attractions as well as hundreds of species of live animals. Special designs and provisions were incorporated throughout the park to protect the animals' welfare.

The main difference between Epcot and Animal Kingdom is … It focuses heavily on wildlife and features a free-roaming safari ride as well as a section based on the Avatar movies. Epcot, meanwhile, was originally envisioned as a park centered around the future.

Spike – Western Lowland Gorilla Spike was sadly euthanized at the end of this episode, but we felt like we should still mention him since he was a big part of the emotional episode. You can find other Western Lowland Gorillas in the area he once inhabited on the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail in Africa.

There is some real intense security in the parks, including surveillance cameras in the gift shops, on the rides, and in queues for rides. The cameras inside the attractions are for guest safety since it can be very dangerous for yourself and others if you stand up on a moving ride.
