Does Disney Walk allow dogs?

According to the Disneyland Resort Rules, pets or other animals (except service animals) aren't allowed in the Disneyland Resort theme parks, or the Downtown Disney District. However, you can board your dog at the Disneyland Resort Kennel Club, located just outside the Disneyland Park Main Entrance, for a daily fee.

If you are referring to the Disney BoardWalk, pet dogs are generally not allowed on the walkway itself, which is considered part of the "resort and entertainment" zone. While Disney has significantly expanded its pet-friendly policies in 2026, they are still limited to specific areas. Four on-site hotels—Disney's Yacht Club, Port Orleans Riverside, Art of Animation, and Fort Wilderness—offer designated pet-friendly rooms and specific "green zones" for relief. However, you cannot walk your dog through the general public areas of the BoardWalk, Disney Springs, or the theme parks (unless they are a task-trained Service Animal). For those traveling with pups, Disney offers the "Best Friends Pet Care" facility on-property, which provides luxury boarding, daycare, and even a "doggy water park" so your pet can have a vacation of their own while you enjoy the parks.
