If you have a multi-day trip, you can save money — from $18 to $36 per day — by bringing your own stroller. We are always looking for ways to save money at Disneyland, so bringing our own stroller can help us keep more green in our wallet. Your own stroller can be easier to find in a crowded parking area.
For those visiting with young kids, we recommend bringing your own stroller to Disney World if you don't mind traveling with it. We toadally understand the hassle of flying with a stroller, but we find that it's worth it.
Strollers must be 31” (79cm) wide and 52” (132cm) long or smaller. As a reminder, wagons are not permitted in our parks. Stroller wagons will also no longer be permitted.
Attach a unique signAnother way to make your stroller easy to spot is to attach a sign to the back. This is a fairly popular option because it's easy to make and attach to your current stroller. Use your family name or go with a fun phrase for your trip! Disney strollers have pouches where you can insert a sign.
A backpack is the ideal way to transport items you may need while you're enjoying the parks. Disney restricts the size of bags taken inside Disneyland to 24x15x18, so the smaller the better.
Guests are allowed to bring outside food and nonalcoholic beverages into the parks for self-consumption, provided they are not in glass containers, do not require heating, reheating, processing or refrigeration and do not have pungent odors. Inform a Security Cast Member of any food items when you enter the park.
I'm happy to report that double strollers are indeed allowed as long as they fit into the size requirements stated in the park rules. Currently, the requirements are that strollers be no larger than 31” in width and 52” in length. Stroller wagons are not allowed at this time.
Wagons and wagon-style strollers.While wagons may seem convenient for carting kids around, they can cause congestion in parks and clog up the flow of guests.
However, a Cast Member at the security checkpoint may ask to open your bottle to check its contents, since metal water bottles are opaque. Just keep in mind that alcoholic beverages and glass containers aren't allowed inside the Disneyland Resort, as stated in the Rules.
Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you've stopped by to ask us your question! I am happy to share with you that you do not need a clear bag to enter the parks at Disneyland Resort. You can bring in any bag as long as it is not larger than 24 long x 15 wide x 18 high.
Suitcases, bags, coolers or backpacks, with or without wheels, larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm) are not allowed in any theme park. Loose or dry ice is not permitted in these containers. Re-usable ice packs are recommended.
While flags are not allowed at the Disneyland Resort, you can use a custom handle cover or a scarf tied to the handle to help you find your stroller. My favorite stroller decorations are battery-powered holiday lights, but they're more useful at night than during the day.
Stroller locks and bike locks are generally a no-no at the Disney Parks. If you lock your stroller to a fence, tree, or pole, a Disney Cast Member may cut the lock and move the stroller.
Avoid anywhere near the castle, along a parade route or near a ride line. 3. Introduce your child to any Disney cast member when you arrive at the park. Show your child the cast member's unique nametag badge so if your child gets lost, tell them to look for someone wearing this badge to help them.
While it's certainly possible that stroller or ECV rentals from the theme parks could be unavailable due to demand, I've never heard of it happening. Since stroller and ECV rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis, it's recommended that you arrive early to the theme parks.
Stroller parking lots are located all around the Disney parks. These are designated areas with signs that specifically state that area is for stroller parking only. In most cases, stroller parking is found in heavy traffic areas and outside of rides like the Spaceship Earth ride.
