Does Disneyland give free ice water?

Free Iced Water Many of the counter service locations—any food venue where you go up to the counter and order your meal—often is able to provide you with a free glass of ice water, with the exception of a few locations.

Yes, Disneyland Resort (and Walt Disney World) provides free cups of ice water to all guests. You do not need to purchase anything to receive it. You can walk up to any Quick Service restaurant or food counter that has a soda fountain and simply ask for a "cup of water." This is a critical health policy to prevent dehydration in the California heat. While the cups provided for free are typically the smaller "standard" size, you can ask for multiple cups or bring your own refillable water bottle to empty them into. Additionally, in 2026, there are numerous high-tech bottle-filling stations located throughout the parks, often near restrooms or in newer lands like Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, which provide filtered, chilled water. This is a much better alternative to buying bottled water, which currently costs around $5 per bottle. Please note that "snack carts" that only sell bottled sodas/pretzels usually cannot provide free cups, so look for a permanent building with a kitchen.
