A new nighttime spectacular called “Luminous The Symphony of Us” will debut at EPCOT on Dec. 5, 2023! “Luminous The Symphony of Us” will feature fireworks, fountains, lasers, lighting effects and music and continue Disney's long tradition of amazing nighttime entertainment at the park.

There's too much in the park to easily do in a single day. It's probably more of a one-and-a-half or two-day park. That said, this is a one day itinerary post, and there are a few approaches you can take to have one very good nearly perfect day at Magic Kingdom.

We find that the days closest to the weekends (Friday and Monday), as well as the weekends themselves, are the busiest days at Walt Disney World. Because Magic Kingdom is often the number one park on visitors' lists, they'll hit it first on their trip. If they arrive on a weekend, that makes it a Sunday or Monday!

That makes Magic Kingdom much less busy on party days, so it's a great time to visit the park if you don't mind leaving before it gets dark. If you want to hop to another park after leaving Magic Kingdom, you can do that if you have park hopper tickets.
