As of early 2026, the traditional "Extra Magic Hours" have been replaced at Disney’s Hollywood Studios by two different systems: Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. "Early Theme Park Entry" allows guests staying at any Disney Resort hotel (and select partner hotels) to enter Hollywood Studios 30 minutes before the general public every single day. This is a crucial window for riding high-demand attractions like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance or Slinky Dog Dash with shorter wait times. On the other hand, "Extended Evening Theme Park Hours" is a more exclusive perk reserved only for guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts, Deluxe Villa Resorts, and a few other select hotels like the Swan and Dolphin. These evening hours occur only on select nights (not daily) and allow these specific guests to stay in the park for two hours after it closes to the general public. During these late-night sessions, the wait times for major rides are typically very low. If you are not staying at a qualifying resort, you will not have access to either of these "magic" windows and must plan your day around the standard park operating hours, which can be found in the My Disney Experience app.
