Does Remy still have virtual queue?

Now, guests may experience this incredible attraction using a standby queue instead of a virtual queue beginning Jan. 10, 2022. With this change, we will end the use of virtual queue for now for Remy's Ratatouille Adventure.

As of early 2026, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT primarily utilizes a traditional standby queue and the "Lightning Lane" (purchasable via the Disney Genie+ or the newer "Multi Pass" system). The virtual queue, which was mandatory when the attraction first opened, is generally no longer in place for daily operations. However, Disney reserves the right to reinstate the virtual queue during exceptionally high-demand periods, such as the opening days of a new festival or major holiday weeks. Currently, the only attractions at Walt Disney World that consistently require a virtual queue are the newest or most high-demand headliners, such as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure or Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. For Remy, guests can simply walk up to the entrance in the France pavilion to join the line, or they can check the My Disney Experience app to see if a virtual queue has been temporarily implemented for that specific day.

Overall it's a very enjoyable ride with some clever effects. If you're visiting Epcot with a toddler, this is likely to be one of your must-do rides. It might be too scary for some kids—ours went through a phase where basically any indoor dark ride scared them, and Remy's is more intense than other dark rides.
