Disneyland Rides With Photos Space Mountain – at the end of Disneyland's Space Mountain, you'll go through a tunnel with flashing lights. This is where your photo is taken. Splash Mountain ride photos- same as the Disney World version: your photo is taken just as you take the big drop.

To prevent Ticket abuse, Disneyland has introduced a Photo ID system. The first time you enter the park, you will have your picture taken, which is then stored in a database.

Disney PhotoPass photos, dining photos and attraction photos in your account will expire 45 days from the date the photo was taken. If you would like to extend the expiration date to 60 days from the date the photo was taken, you may purchase an Expiration Extension.
