Does the name on a Disney ticket matter?

I'm happy to let you know that you do not need to worry about the name on your ticket matching your ID, unless that ticket is a special ticket, like the Military Promotional Park Hopper Ticket. Those tickets must be scanned for the first time with a valid ID.

However, the name attached to a ticket is mostly for your convenience to help organize the tickets linked to your Disneyland Resort account in the Disneyland mobile app.
