On some rides, it isn't worth the money, but on a few, you will grow old and see your children get married before you get to ride if you are in the “free” line. Yes, it's possible to actually park for free at Universal Orlando Resort. The catch is you have to arrive after 6 PM. Universal does this so people can go to CityWalk in the evening. Disney Springs also offers shopping and dining and that's what CityWalk at Universal also offers.
