How big are the lockers at Universal Studios?

Single-Time Use Lockers at Attractions Standard-sized lockers (14 in x 5.5 in x 16.9 in): for small loose articles are free while you ride. Larger lockers (12 in x 13 in x 16.9 in) for oversized items can be rented for an additional fee.

At Universal Orlando Resort in 2026, lockers are categorized into "Daily Rental" and "Ride" lockers. Daily Rental lockers, located at the park entrance, come in "Large" (12 x 13 x 16.9 inches) for about $15/day and "Family" (12 x 16.25 x 16.9 inches) for $20/day. More importantly, Ride Lockers are found at major attractions where loose items are prohibited (like VelociCoaster or Hulk). These are divided into Standard (14 x 5.5 x 16.9 inches), which are free for the duration of your ride, and Large (12 x 13 x 16.9 inches), which cost $3 upfront. The "Standard" lockers are designed for small items like phones, wallets, and "fanny packs," but they are notably thin and will not fit a standard-sized backpack. If you are carrying a full backpack, you will likely be forced to pay for the "Large" ride locker at every attraction or leave it in a daily rental locker at the front. At Volcano Bay, lockers are even more diverse, including a "Mini" size (14.11 x 5.52 x 17.72 inches) for $10 and "Regular" and "Family" sizes that go up to $20.
