How do I book Disney lightsaber experience?

Reservations for Savi's Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers can be made up to 60 days in advance. To make a reservation, please check availability on this page or with the Disneyland app. Separate valid admission and park reservation for same park on same date required.

Once you have built your lightsaber, however, you will receive a carrying case so that you may still keep your lightsaber concealed and away from the stormtroopers. Otherwise, you may ask if it can be stored at a merchandise location, but this service is not available at all theme parks.

While you may bring the full lightsaber into the theme parks, please know you'll be asked to stow it away safely to enjoy any attractions so your plan to just bring the hilt is a good one.

If you have a tall enough suitcase, it should fit inside – the blade is 31 inches (or about 79 centimetres) long. We were able to fit ours into our carry-on luggage by placing it diagonally across the suitcase, and then tucking the hilt beside the blade itself.
