How do I get Premier Access United?

You can still buy Premier Access even if you aren't a MileagePlus member or aren't flying in a Premium cabin. Get it for one flight or your whole trip using our website, app, or at an airport kiosk. Prices start at $24. Keep in mind that when you buy Premier Access it doesn't include priority bag services.

There are several ways to get United Premier Access, which grants you designated check-in lines, priority security lanes (where available), and priority boarding. The most direct way is to purchase it as an add-on when you book your flight or during check-in; prices typically start at $15 and vary based on the route. If you are a MileagePlus Premier member (Silver status and higher), Premier Access is an automatic, complimentary benefit included with your status. Additionally, certain co-branded credit cards, such as the United Quest Card or the United Club Infinite Card, provide these priority benefits to the cardholder and their companions. You also get Premier Access automatically if you are flying in a premium cabin, such as United First, United Business, or United Polaris. It is a valuable "time-saving" tool, especially at busy hubs like Denver or Houston, as it allows you to bypass the longest queues at the airport, ensuring a much smoother transition from the curb to the gate without the need for a full First Class ticket.
