How do I get to Bangkok airport early in the morning?

Taxis run all the time and if you do go early in the morning you will be spared the traffic. You could stay at a hotel near the airport. I have stayed at the Grand Pinnacle and they can take you to the airport in the morning. Bangkok is a 24 hr city there are taxi's running all the time.

For a 2026 early morning departure from Suvarnabhumi (BKK) or Don Mueang (DMK), your best options are Grab, Bolt, or a pre-arranged AOT Limousine. The Airport Rail Link (for BKK) and the Red Line (for DMK) typically do not begin operations until 05:30 AM, so for flights before 08:00 AM, public rail is often too late. Taxis are available 24/7, but using a ride-hailing app like Grab provides a fixed price and GPS tracking for safety. If you are staying in the Sukhumvit or Silom areas, the drive to BKK takes about 30–45 minutes in the early hours before the notorious Bangkok traffic peaks. For those on a budget, some "LimoBus" services operate from Khao San Road starting around 04:00 AM, but they are less reliable than a private car. Always allow an extra 20 minutes for the driver to find your hotel, as the "sois" (side streets) can be confusing for drivers at night.
