How do I know if I got the companion pass Southwest?

Just head over to Southwest's website and log in to your Southwest Airlines account. Navigate to the “My Account” button at the top right. Once to the page, scroll to the area labeled “My Rapid Rewards,” and your Companion Pass progress will be listed right there — along with a few other pieces of information.

To find out if you have earned the Southwest Companion Pass in 2026, you should first log in to your Rapid Rewards account on Southwest.com or the mobile app. Under the "My Account" section, look for a "Companion Pass Status" bar. If you have met the requirements (usually 135,000 qualifying points or 100 qualifying flights in a calendar year), the status will clearly state "Earned" and will show the expiration date. You will also receive an official email and a physical member kit in the mail. A high-value "peer tip" is to check the "Choose Your Companion" link; if it is active, you have successfully earned the pass. Once you designate your companion, you can immediately begin booking them on your flights for just the cost of taxes and fees (starting at $5.60). If the bar is still "in progress," it will show you exactly how many more points or flights you need. Remember, the pass is valid for the remainder of the year you earned it PLUS the entire following calendar year.
