How do I use the cabify app?

To do so, just follow these steps in the app:
  1. Tell us where you want to go.
  2. Select the category Taxi or Easy Taxi. (If it's not showing up in the app, swipe up to see all the available categories.)
  3. That's it! Now you can get around the city by taxi.

Using the Cabify app in 2026 follows a streamlined process similar to other major ridesharing platforms. First, you must download the app and create an account by entering your email, phone number, and a preferred payment method (credit card, PayPal, or Google/Apple Pay). Once logged in, the app uses your phone's GPS to identify your current location. You simply enter your destination in the "Where to?" box, and the app will present you with various vehicle tiers, such as "Cabify Lite," "Executive," or even local taxis depending on the city. A key feature of Cabify is that it shows the exact price upfront, which will not change even if there is traffic. After selecting your ride, you can customize preferences like air conditioning or music. You will receive the driver's name, photo, and vehicle plate number for security. During the trip, you can share your "live location" with friends or family. Once the ride is complete, the payment is processed automatically through the app, and you are invited to rate your experience, ensuring a high standard of service across its operations in Spain and Latin America.
